Thrifty tip: Vinegar

If anyone out there is reading this, did you know vinegar has multiple household uses? Apparently you can pretty much do all your cleaning with vinegar and baking soda (I haven't, but should try it...no chemicals!). Recently I've been using vinegar as fabric softener. It started when I was pregnant and couldn't stand the smell of my Gain dryer sheets and ran out of liquid softener (and at that point I was totally unmotivated to go to the store). Now, I really really hate the smell of vinegar too and I was worried that my clothes would stink but they don't at all. They're super soft! I put in about 1/4 cup per load. Cheap and easy! And great for people with sensitive skin or for baby clothes.
